Unistraw supports Earth Hour

Unistraw is committed to supporting good energy initiatives that ensure we have a sustainable environment - including the use of recyclable plastics and packaging materials in our products.

In a world first, the Sydney metropolitan area turned off its lights for one hour at 7.30pm on Saturday March 31, 2007 as a major step towards reducing the city's greenhouse gas pollution.

With the support of the WWF, The City of Sydney and the NSW Government, Earth Hour was the highlight of a major campaign to encourage businesses, communities and individuals to take the simple steps needed to cut their emissions by 5% in 2007.

In support of this initiative, Unistraw's headquarters went dark for the occasion.
