Unistraw International named a finalist in the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Unistraw International Limited has been named a finalist in the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards program.

The Australian Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program, launched in 2001, is conducted in five regions. The winners from each of the five regions compete for the position of overall Australian National Entrepreneur Of The Year. The Australian Entrepreneur Of The Year is invited to attend the World Entrepreneur Of The Year awards, held in Monte Carlo.

As the first and only truly global award of its kind, Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates entrepreneurs who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognising them through regional, national and global award programs in over 100 cities and more than 40 countries.

First established in 1986, the international recognition of the award positions recipients as world-class entrepreneurs, and provides a benchmark for entrepreneurial excellence. Winners are much-admired leaders in their industries and important role models.

The 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year awards program is currently underway, with the Australian National winner announced in September 2007.
